Action.

Ari Weinweig on taking note and taking action ...

As I have been learning in the study of poetry and the development of a “poetic approach to leadership,” poetry cracks open emotional doors and allows us to crystallize our thoughts and focus our feelings in ways that might well do the same for others. Try reading any poem (better still, read one you wrote) out loud at the start of the next meeting you lead, and I’ll bet you dollars to Roadhouse doughnuts that you will, in the process, alter the dynamic of the whole gathering, almost certainly for the better.
