I've always found it hard to conform to the so-called standards. Each time a teacher or an adult told me I shouldn't do this or that, I'd nod but let their words breeze past me. I refused to believe there was only one path in life.

Underrated.

Miguel Cabrera may be an even better hitter than we think.

How is that even possible?

The Detroit Tigers first baseman - with his Triple Crown, two MVP awards and World Series ring from his time with the Florida Marlins - already has the accolades necessary to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame. But before we enshrine Cabrera into Cooperstown, he's got a few more years to go in Detroit - and there's reason to believe he's actually underrated as a hitter even though he's already one of the greatest right-handed hitters in the history of baseball.
