The process of cancellation continuously performed by a culture simply in order to stay alive today appears normal. To identify memory and culture today we started forgetting that the culture mobilizes to various kinds of cancellation, which can range from sensual, the erasure of manuscripts, bonfires of books, damnatio memoriae, forgery of documentary sources, negationism, until forgetfulness out of shame, inertia, remorse, down to those process current in exit science, in which it is decided that not only the hypothesis is proven erroneous, but even the efforts and procedures followed to arrive at the correct ones are expunged from the specialized encyclopedia of a particular science because it is believed that they are no longer useful.
