"I am not one who was born in the custody of wisdom. I am one who is fond of olden times and intense in quest of the sacred knowing of the ancients." Gustave Courbet

Concurrence.

Something awesome is happening in the night sky for the next few days. Actually it’s in the sky of the wee morning hours, so it’s not a matter of staying up late, but getting up extra early. During the last week of January and the first week of February five planets will be visible without the aid of a telescope. Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Venus, Mercury will be shining bright together for the first time since 2005. The ideal time for viewing this celestial concurrence is about 45 minutes before sunrise.
