Glorious.

Michigan play-by-play announcer, Bob Ufer, prepares the student body for the 1979 Michigan-Ohio game ...


As a kid, growing up in Michigan, I became a Wolverine listening to Ufer's radio call on "The Great Voice of The Great Lakes," WJR.  I remember a radio in the kitchen, one in the garage, and one out in the backyard, right next to whatever was being woked on ... those were grand and glorious times.

Sports Illustrated reports that Ohio fans want to speak to the manager -- again ...
Not surprisingly, Ohio State's fan base latched on to this latest news in hopes that it would bring them some sort of joy and happiness. In many ways, the Buckeye faithful have become the overbearing "Karens" of college football - always crying, always whining, always asking for the manager.

The world isn't getting to me.  The shootings, the knifings, the beatings, old ladies being bashed in the head for their social security checks, teachers being thrown out a fourth-floor window because they don't give As -- that doesn't bother me a bit.  

You know what does bother me?  You know what makes me really sick to my stomach?  It's knowing Howard Cosell isn't in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
