WHAT DANNY SAID
When asked what he’d miss most,
having to leave the house he’d known
the whole nine years of his life,
he squinted and looked off a little
beyond where we were just then,
and said, “The smell. I think
it’s the smell I’ll miss most.
Maybe we can take that with us.”
