Fitz.

On November 10, 1975, at about this time, the ore carrier Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior with all hands.

Here's an interview with Capt. Bernie Cooper of the Arthur M. Anderson conducted by the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society. The Anderson was 10 miles behind the Fitzgerald in the teeth of Lake Superior during that fateful night.
