The Red Wings won their 15th straight home game and eclipsed the previous home winning-streak record set by the 1964-65 Wings. Todd Bertuzzi had a goal and two assists, and Pavel Datsyuk had three assists, the last of which earned him his 700th career point. Jimmy Howard made 27 saves for his fifth shutout of the season. Johan Franzen scored his team-leading 18th goal.
