Declaration.

On History Bookshelf, William Hogeland talks about his book, “Declaration, The Nine Tumultuous Weeks When America Became Independent, May 1 – July 4, 1776,” which recalls the debate leading up to the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776.

Mr. Hogeland focuses on the efforts of Samuel and John Adams to convince others to choose independence.
