If Del McCoury were a Major League pitcher, he'd be Nolan Ryan, throwing straight, high-octane gas. This performance is why I feel the culture of Appalachia in general, and specifically bluegrass music, are among the most underrated artforms in the world.

How could you argue with the high lonesome sound, cornbread, moonshine, and Big Smith overalls?
