Thomas Edison was born on this day in 1847.
That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the
task itself has become easier, but that our ability to perform it has improved. Nearly every man who develops an idea
works at it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then gets
discouraged. That's not the place to become discouraged. Many of life's
failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when
they gave up.
