Intertwined.

Painting the Way to the Moon is a feature documentary about Dr. Ed Belbruno, a Princeton mathematician and painter who pioneered space travel while working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) in the 1980s.

What makes Ed’s story so unique is that his “eureka” moment happened while he was painting. Miraculously, all of Ed’s scientific breakthroughs have been intertwined with his art.
