Poortvliet.

More than thirty years ago, on a gray, autumn afternoon, my friend, Kurt, introduced me to a book called Gnomes. I recently came across some work by that book's illustrator, Rien Poortvliet, in a book he created called, The Living Forest: A World of Animals.
