Walleye cooked in lard in a cast-iron skillet over an open fire of birch logs on a bank of the Churchill River "system" (it's the world's least systematic river), in northern Saskatchewan -- preferably with a Woodland Cree doing the cooking -- on a fly-in fishing trip for northern pike. That, too, tastes pretty good.
