Dominates.

The best player in the league, Pavel Datsyuk, is a Red Wing.

Strengths: An eminently skilled puck-handling wizard who dominates at both ends of the rink. He has the best set of hands in the league and tremendous vision. He has the ability to turn on a dime and turn defenders inside-out. He is deceptively strong, often throwing a shoulder into would-be checkers to maintain puck possession. He is patient with the puck, which has a way of finding him. He is just as committed defensively, with an uncanny ability to sneak up on opponents and strip them of the puck.

Weaknesses: Not many. He could probably score more goals if he didn't prefer to look for open teammates first and his linemates finished more. Hasn't been as durable the past two seasons, missing 38 games, after missing only 13 games over the previous five seasons.
