Carves.

The Hams Fork is an interesting stream. Its headwaters are at less than 10,000 feet of elevation, but the upper course of the river provides habitat for native cutthroat trout. The stream flows through some pretty sere southwestern Wyoming country. From the air, it carves a beautiful riparian corridor that contrasts starkly with the rest of the landscape.
